Steps:
LO Online from TDF: https://nextcloud.documentfoundation.org
find image in google
right click - copy image
open lo online
paste image with CTRL+V
image is pasted twice,see printscreen

Confirmed. Interestingly if the image is first pasted in LibreOffice, and copy-pasted from there, then it's only pasted once.

I can still confirm on LibreOffice Online 7.0 on TDF instance

This happens to me too with text on Calc and Writer. It does happen too with shift(↑)+Enter and Ctrl+Z.

I use Manjaro (Linux 5.10.61-1-MANJARO with KDE Plasma); LibreOffice 7.2.0.4 20(Build:4)
