When printing to pdf, it would be nice to have a menu with pre-print options for trim/crop marks, bleed marks, color marks and registry marks selecting length and displacement.

Being able to select pdf/x format to export imprint ready pdfs would be a bigger plus.

As someone who writes books, I find the lack of PDF/X output to be a major omission from LO. As others appear to be asking for it, could it please be put on the "soon to do" list?

totally agree, 
PDF/X is a must..
LO apparently is meant to be able to handle book editing, 
so... after all that editing... 
there must me  way to generate  a proper file output, 
which is PDF/X-1a
