View of problem- No show of Table content

In laptop running Win 10, 1803, Libreoffice ver 6.1.3.RC2 I have created an odb file in Base.
The file contains 12 tables, forms and queries, including macros linked to push buttons.
In one table, when in EDIT mode, the records are not shown. The table contains 2 columns. When putting the cursor on one line (record) in whatever column, the content is shown. When selecting the column header, the content of the column is shown. When selecting the complete line of the table, the content of the record in both columns are shown.
When selecting the table to create a form, all data, records are recognized ans the form is created and is working withe no problem.
Copying and paste of the odb file does not eradicate the problem.
This problem appeared suddenly and was not there from the start, when the table was created, I used to see the content with no problem. I do not know unfortunately what went wrong and the problem emerged.

The problem is that the content of the database is not visible for use.

@Bill : we need more information than this, and preferably a test ODB file with which we can attempt to reproduce the problem.

Which kind of db engine are you using ?

You mention that the problem only occurs in one table. Are other tables affected ?

What are the field definitions for this table ?

Setting NEEDINFO until further information and test ODB file provided.

obd file with the problematic Table

Dear all,

I have deleted some of the work in the obd file but kept some of the working tables and the problematic one!

I attach this 'reduced' obd file, where the problem remains.
The table definitions are available via the edit command. ID uses Interger and Aquisition Method uses Varchar.

For jre checked, I use ORACLE 10.0.2 x 64 (NO experimental features, No enable macros recording ...) .

Connection Pooling is Enabled and all included registrations in LibreOffice 6.1.3.2 are checked.

Let me know if you need anything more.

Thank you

Confirming with test file provided and

LO6132 MacOS 10.14.2

I tried looking through the table formatting of the Table in data edit mode, but can't see anything in particular, other than the difference in fonts (the other tables seems to use Segoe, which is not present on my system, and thus LO displays table content in fallback bold font.

The problematic table uses Callibri.

Also tested with

Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Calc: threaded

Same issue present.

This table uses white as font colour in its formatting. White on white background is not visible.
Comment 5 Robert Großkopf 2018-11-30 15:21:42 UTC
Open the problematic table.
Mark all content by left mouse at the left from the header "ID".
Choose "Table format".
Set font colour to "Automatic" or "black".

The colour for the whole table of the attached database is set to white on white background.

If this will work for you please set this bug to "resolved" and "worksforme".
Comment 6 Alex Thurgood 2018-11-30 15:51:40 UTC
Hi Lionel, the question is why that might occur other than through user choice.

I've just re-opened the file I downloaded, in LO6121, after having a crash on LO master with the same file (in the font dropdown menu) and recovering said file, and can now see the text, yet I had changed nothing in the table formatting. If font colour can change without user input under an as yet undetermined set of circumstances (e.g. crash, or hang) that doesn't bode well for this kind of bug in the future.
Comment 7 Bill 2018-11-30 17:52:44 UTC
It is white font on white background.
Strange that this happened only in this Table.
Thanks
