Description Tom Balaban 2018-12-02 19:45:16 UTC
Currently I have about 20 templates of my own and they represent about a quarter of the templates presented to me when I want to select one. All of these extra, unwanted templates are irriatating. I can not delete or hide them.

I'm not sure of what arguments there are for making them immuatable. I believe that LO should be as open and free, especailly with respect to mandating unwanted features.

I am respectfuloly requesting that embedded templates be deletable or, perhaps even better, hidden. If hidden they could be visiable when requested.

It would certanly make my work flow much easier. I suspect others would feel the same.

Sorry. I thought replicating this would be easy.

Here are the steps to experience this issue that concerns me.
  1. Open Template Manager
  2. Select under filter: All Applications; All Categories
  3. Select any template that is installed with LibreOffice, suck as "mediawiki"
  4. Right-click and click Delete
  5. Answer "Yes" to the dialog "Do you want to delete the selected template?"
The attached image appears and the unwanted template remains. It can not be deleted.

FWIW, I can delete any template I create but I can not delete any template automatically installed by LibreOffice and there many of those.
