Description: After enabling direct cursor (in Writer), I can see black remnants of the direct cursor behind all over the page (both new and existing documents). Even had the entire doc background go black once but have not reproduced that. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enable Direct Cursor in Writer 2. Move the cursor around on the screen! 3. Actual Results: Black marks (not normal direct cursor movement) Expected Results: normal direct cursor movement (no black marks left behind where cursor used to be) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Happens whether or not OpenGL is enabled

Confirming with Version: 6.1.3.4 LO Vanilla Build ID: 15843ed45a7b807506f7cf3529f9e15dd77e4b8b Threads CPU : 4; OS : Mac OS X 10.14.1; UI Render : par défaut; Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded 1) Open a Writer document. 2) Under Preferences - Formatting Aids, activate the direct cursor, leaving the default "insert spaces" radio button selected. 3) Close the Preferences dialog clicking on OK. 4) Now click on the Writer page in several different pages, including in the Footer area. 5) At some stage, the document will scroll and a black background will be displayed that covers/replaces the document display.

It would be nice if it could be found and backported to 6.1 though.
