Description Fabio Zaffora 2018-12-18 13:56:42 UTC
Description:
When I change the language of the text in a document and paste text in a document with the 'unformated text' option the language of the newly inserted text is in the default language instead of the language of the document.
For example: my default language is german. I write and change the language of all the text to english (UK). When i paste unformated text in the language of this text (contrarily to the rest of the document) is in german.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a new document
2. type some text
3. select all (ctrl-a)
4. change the language of the text (click language on status bar)
5. paste new text somewhere in the middle of the document: right click 'paste speciap; unformatted text''

Actual Results:
After pasting the language of the inserted text is different than the rest of the document

Expected Results:
The language of the text is the same as on the point of insertion.

Reproducible: Always

Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Languages: check "Ignore system input language" and then set the "Default Languages for Documents" for Western, Asian, Complex text as appropriate.

Those settings will be the defaults. Can be set just for current document, or persistent in user profile.

With that change, the insertion of text will be the "same as on the point of insertion" remember to add the extra empty paragraph to pick up the default.
