Description Tim 2019-01-15 09:44:41 UTC
The master file as represented here:
https://help.libreoffice.org/Writer/Master_Documents_and_Subdocuments

cannot be saved in a flat XML form.

Just here to confirm this bug. If you "Save as ...", the only file
types you can select from are:

- ODF Master Document (.odm)
- Text - Choose Encoding (Master Document) (.txt)
- ODF Master Document Template (.otm)

My LibreOffice Version: 6.1.5 (Debian version 1:6.1.5-3, but this bug
should not be Debian-specific).

The reason I would like to work with FODM files instead of ODM is for
versioning LibreOffice documents with git, as FODM/FODT are plain-text
files with human- and git-readable and -diffable linebreaks.

If you're able to confirm a bug, you are also allowed to change the status to NEW

=> status NEW, because of comment 1
