Description stdedos 2019-01-16 10:54:09 UTC
Description:
NB: This is a bug against documentation. However, my wish is that other things mentioned will change, in various product areas (not just documentation).

1) I believe "AutoFormat Styles" to be _at least_ misleading. Maybe mention somewhere that this feature autoformats "selected cell range" as in a "table"?

2) There is no mention, and no indication that feature requires at least a 2x3 selection to work. Additionally, MS Excel doesn't have these limitations (even on its online version).

3) The only "range limitation" comes from the "Add" button in "AutoFormat Styles" ("of a range of at least 4 x 4 cells"). However, even frasing is un-intuitive to me. Maybe change:
> Allows you to add the current formatting of a range of at least 4 x 4 cells to the list of predefined AutoFormats.
to
> Allows you to add the current formatting to the list of predefined AutoFormats. Note that this, requires a range of at least 4 x 4 cells

For 1):
A logical name could be "Apply Style to Table", "[Visually] Format Table", or something UI/UX-equivalent
