Description herman.viaene 2019-01-21 15:35:22 UTC
Description:
I made a presentation including some 150 pictures (5Mb range each) plus a few text items. When I minimize the presentation (screen option or projector option) the first 59 slides are OK, but the following slides have no picture, just a kind of generic placeholder. In the remaining 100 slides, only a few have e valid picture.

Hello,

Thank you for filing the bug. Please send us a sample document, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO', so please do change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once you have attached a document.
(Please note that the attachment will be public, remove any sensitive information before attaching it.)
How can I eliminate confidential data from a sample document?

Thank you

The issue was - sadly - rather common in older releases. Probably fixed with LibreOffice 6.1

I tried to reduce the presentation , but then the problem did not occur anymore. The original file is at
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1t0RWgU_09cge45p0XobPo0pNP9ITXVhP
Plse tell me when I can delete it.
And the problem does not occur when I use LO 5.4 on Windows10

I get no missing pictures, when I minimize it.

If you are stuck with an old version on Mageia, you could use an appimage to test a fresh one: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/

A new major release of LibreOffice is available since this bug was reported.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Just minimized the original presentation with LibreOffice 6.3.0.4 and the minimzed presentation contains all pictures. So OK now
