Description Dan Dascalescu 2019-02-02 09:27:28 UTC
I'm trying to zoom in Calc on a ThinkPad X1C business laptop running Ubuntu 18.04, using Ctrl+two finger drag on the touchpad.

The problem is that the zoom is extremely sensitive to the smallest motion of the fingers on the trackpad, and it's very hard to achieve the desired zoom level that way. Keeping the two fingers touching the same spot and just rolling them a bit towards or away from the screen, causes the zoom to vary by 10s of a percent.

To reproduce, try setting zoom to 120%, 125%, and 130% using only Ctrl and the two-finger scroll gesture on the trackpad.

Otherwise on the system, scrolling works as expected in all other applications, and I haven't adjusted the touchpad sensitivity. This is a fresh Ubuntu install.
