Description Lucia 2019-02-08 20:22:41 UTC
Description:
my defaulut language is Slovak, but I am now trying to write the document in English. I set the language for English. But it simply DOESN'T WORK. I write a few words and it's okay, then suddenly it starts underlining them. At the bottom, the language is still set to English UK. But the words are underlined as incorrect until I highlight them and set the language to English AGAIN. And then it works for a few words and then it all happens again.

It's extremely irritating and frustrating. Is there a way to make it work - without changing the default language and without turning off the spellchecker?

Actual Results:
It happens in all documents I try to write in English.

Expected Results:
Keep the language setting I choose and not randomly switch to another language.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
