Could you please add support for classical icon theme, used in 5.x and lower versions of LibreOffice, for associated documents? Flat theme looks not that good with Windows 7.

Or support for custom association themes using extensions.
Comment 2 Heiko Tietze 2019-03-25 08:41:18 UTC
That's possible out of the box. The deprecated and removed icon themes are stored on the extensions site [1] and you can install it on your system. There is also the mentioned "Classic" theme [2] - don't remember what exactly it was but while the extension is not maintained you find instructions how to install.

There only possible to change UI icons theme in LibreOffice. But no options to change icons theme for associated documents (used in Windows Explorer).

Can you please explain what "associated document used in Explorer" means?
Comment 5 Alexey 2019-05-27 12:25:31 UTC
Icons used in Explorer for LibreOffice documents: *.odt, *.ods etc.

Okay, you mean the MIME type icons that we made flat recently. And yes, there are no means to change this. Sorry, we tried our best to keep the classic look and feel. => WF
