I confirm it with

Version: 6.1.5.2 (x64)
Build-ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805
CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 10.0; UI-Render: Standard;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); Calc: group threaded

Expected result for me: same rendering as if you only press "-"

Soft-hyphen (the one you get by pressing ctl + -) is a control character that tells the application it is allowed to hyphenate here. Control characters have zero width because they should not normally change the layout. If you export to PDF the hyphen will completely disappear. If you want regular hyphen, use - or ‐ (U+2010).
