Reproduce:
- Open new document
- Create a new text field (F2)
- Make the size big enough to handle size 80
- Mark text
- Change font size to 80
- Click somewhere else on the slide to remove focus from text field
- Content of the text field will disappear.

It will still be shown inside the "slides"-view and during the presentation mode.

Can not confirm on Windows 10 Ent 64-bit en-US (1803) with nVidia GPU and

Term/control is "Text Box" (with short cut F2). With this build, no issues with fonts in Draw Text Box over 80 point size. Entries in a Draw Text Box Displayed on canvas in edit mode, and in presentation mode, at sizes through 168 point (16:9 layout).

I have no idea what's going on. 
I was restarting the software yesterday and the bug kept appearing.
Today I tried again and the bug disappeared.
Didn't shut down the computer during the night.

It seems like Anthy is causing some troubles on my system (xubuntu) and also with libreoffice. Maybe that's some key point.
I will try to investigate more.

I would close the bugreport for now.
