Description Peter 2019-02-25 17:39:25 UTC
Description:
The libreoffice logo has opened after I clicked a Base file to open a database. The logo started to load, that is the libreoffice banner appeared, and less than one second the logo flashed and then vanished. then one or two seconds later the logo reappeared. The cycle continues in the time I logged in to report Bug and Windows TaskManager cannot stop it. Probably have to restart Windows 10 to stop it

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open Q-Dir 7.33 file explorer
2.Select Frugal Computer Guy Base tutorial No 36 and click
3.logo flashes and loops

Actual Results:
unknown I have to restart Windows

Expected Results:
I have not tried again as I will have to close Windows and start again. it is not sure that it will occur again.

Reproducible: Didn't try

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Simply opened Base as so often before. I will try safe mode,---, no; no effect to the loop. I must restart win dows.

@Peter : please indicate which Base file you are using. From your description, I am assuming you mean the ODB file available here :

https://thefrugalcomputerguy.com/downloads/15/odb36-Adding%20a%20Subform.odb

I downloaded this file and it opens just fine for me with:

Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: e9db8eceff48290be72591f7422b4fc45e5752fc
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.14.2; UI render: default; VCL: osx;
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

and

Version: 6.2.0.3
Build ID: 98c6a8a1c6c7b144ce3cc729e34964b47ce25d62
Threads CPU : 4; OS : Mac OS X 10.14.2; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: osx;
Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Langue IHM : fr-FR
Calc: threaded

so the problem you are experiencing is either limited to your version of LO on Windows 10 in general, or else your particular configuration.

@Peter : you reported this as x86(32bit) on Windows 10 - aren't you using a 64bit version of LibreOffice ?
