Description Todd 2019-03-01 22:36:44 UTC
I have a button that calls a marco on my spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is marked Read Only (Windows 10). I "Save As" to create a new spreadsheet with the day's information on it.

Problem. On the new spreadsheet, the button does not work (ignores me) until I exit the spreadsheet and reopen it. Then happy camping returns.

I would attach the spreadsheet but it has tons of private information on it. If you really need it, I can try making non private example.

Many thanks,
-T

Actually, it is difficult to get time on the customer's machine. And the document is full of private information.

Also, this is a Drop Box directory they are having the issue with. I have not been able to recreate it anywhere else. Do you have Drop Box directory on Windows you can try it with a test spread sheet?

Hi Todd,
even if I have a dropbox directory, it's difficult to replicate the problem without the document.

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

I have no access to the customer's equipment and they haven't complained in months, so who knows. Plus the spreadsheet can not be shared. So I guess go ahead and close this. If I get called again by the customer, I will reopen

Fair enough. If they complain again, please ask them to provide a document.
Closing as RESOLVED WORKFORME.
