Description pentike 2019-03-04 14:19:57 UTC
By default while building a formula and selecting cells with the mouse or keyboard, the cells are referenced relatively.

If I would like to calculate monthly interests, I would select the first month (A1) and multiply principal (B1) by interest rate (A2). If I would like to copy the formula to A2 I first have to edit it and add the absolute reference to $A$2.

It would be nince to have a shortcut for adding absolute references. i.e. Ctrl. + Click

Thanks!

Like F4?

Exactly F4 ;-)
Works even on a currently selected (i.e. the last) reference while editing or assembling a formula.
