Screenshot of Special Character menu

Fully updated Ubuntu 18.10, Toshiba Satellite laptop.
I installed 6.2.0.3 this morning. All well and good until I needed a special sort for my text. The Special Characters button opens a pop-up dialog on screen, with 'favourite characters' and a button to access the full list. (Screenshot attached.) Now running 6.1 until the problem can be resolved. This has cost me £50 in lost work today.

I would, but I had to uninstall it so I could make up for lost work on Monday. I'm now running v.6.1. Sorry.

Ok, so please say us how you installed version 6.2? From PPA or you used deb-packages from site of LibreOffice?

I installed 6.2.0.3 via snap in the Ubuntu terminal.

I'll wait until I've finished the two books I've got on the go before I try altering my configuration again. I really can't take the chances of anything going wrong. And I can't spare the time to reinstall it at the moment.

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
