Description perlancar 2019-03-11 12:44:50 UTC
Description:
Sample workbook provided. I cannot reproduce this workbook from scratch, it was from an Excel file that later converted to .ods format. I copy-pasted the whole sheet to a new document and delete all the contents. Try changing the background cell colors in columns E & F from turquoise/cyan to no color or white or whatever. You can't. Also tried special-copy-pasting the format from another column, you can't and Libreoffice hangs with 100% CPU.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:
See description

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm the bug is present. I can move the colored cells to other column, but couldn't completely change the color of the background.

The file has a lot of conditional formats, removing them, no issue to apply a color.

Resolved as not a bug, please if you are not agree, reopen it.

Ah yes, didn't realize there is conditional formatting on those columns. But (this might be a separate bug) I cannot seem to remove the conditional formatting. Format > Conditional > Condition, then press Delete. But the formatting as well as conditional formatting stay.

Also, when copy-pasting from a previous sheet, the conditional formatting was changed. Previously the condition was:

Condition 1: Cell value is, equal to, ''. Apply style: Default.

After copy-pasting it becomes:

Condition 1: Cell value is, equal to, ''. Apply style: Accent.

Actually, about conditional formatting, the condition:

Condition 1: Cell value is, equal to, ''. Apply style: Accent.

shown in the Format > Conditional > Condition seems to be the default. Even empty cells on a new blank sheet shows it.

When in the manage window for conditional format delete all, what you must do one by one, it's quicker using the shortcut for Remove [Alt+R] (English).

And in a new spreadsheet there are not conditional formats by default, go to the manage window for CF and you see it is blank.

Please take a look to the help and guide about conditional format.
