Description Gunnar Reichborn-Kjennerud 2019-03-17 19:25:25 UTC
Description:
I wsa writing a file and had it on my screen. I repeatedly clicked Ctrl-S to save it to my document folder while writing.
Suddenly it disappeared from the screen.
I frantically looked for it in my document folder, but the file was no longer there.
I used the search button on the bottom tool bar, and searched for the file name, but the file name did not appear.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tried to write a small test file.
2. to save it, clicking the upper right X
3. to search for it, clicking the search button on the tool bar, and writing the file name

Actual Results:
I performed the steps above.
The file stayed on the screen.
The file was found in the Document folder under its file name.
The file contained the test message.
The file name appeared on the search board.

Expected Results:
Every step worked as expected

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The missing file should have stayed on the screen.
The missing file's file name should have been in my Document folder
The missing file's file name should have appeared and given the location of the file if it for any reason had been misplaced

The bug, consisting as it does of a file suddenly disappearing from the screen, cannot be reproduced.
But the bug occurred again the day before yesterday.
And previous to that, it has occurred for my wife a couple of times.
Some of those times the file has reappeared suddenly after a short period.

Something else happens once in a while. While I am writing then suddenly a table may appear on the screen, or something like a list of file names from my document folder.
This cannot be reproduced on purpose. It just happens unexpectedly.

My LibreOffice program was updated on 13.08.2019
