Description elske.we 2019-03-22 21:56:33 UTC
Description:
Conditional Formatting with a 'Formula is' rule is not preserved when saving to xlsx

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new workbook in excel and add some conditional formatting rule with an 'Formula is' rule, e.g. '=$C1="true"', with some formatting
2. Save the file as xlsx and open it in LO
3. Save the file in LO as xlsx
4. Open the file in Excel

Actual Results:
Excel says 'We found a problem with some content'. If you choose to recover the workbook, the conditional formatting is still there, but only the rule without the formatting. When opening the file in LO the formatting is lost, too.

Expected Results:
The conditional formatting is preserved or at least the xlsx is still readable by Excel

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

My version:

Version: 6.2.2.2 (x64)
Build ID: 2b840030fec2aae0fd2658d8d4f9548af4e3518d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win;

Calc: CL

With Excel I'm using Excel 2016 with the latest version installed.

One additional observation: The condition itself is retained in LO as well as in Excel (after restoring), but the formatting is lost, making it look like the whole rule was deleted.

I'm having the same problem.

When opening with Excel 2010 the attached example file saved with LO 'Conditional Formatting Test LO.xlsx', I get the reported error message. If I say Yes to try to recover, there is another message window that informs that Excel has validated and repaired the file, and shows the repaired records:

Registros reparados: Formato condicional de /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml parte

(Repaired records: Conditional formatting of /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml)

Also, I've opened with LO 6.2.3.2 the example file created with Excel (Conditional Formatting Test.xlsx), I've added some text in a cell and saved it.

If I open that modified file with Excel 2010, it shows the try to recover message. If I click Yes, the repaired records message is the same.

The version of my LO:
Versión: 6.2.3.2
Id. de compilación: aecc05fe267cc68dde00352a451aa867b3b546ac
Subprocs. CPU: 4; SO: Windows 6.1; Repres. IU: predet.; VCL: win;
Configuración regional: es-ES (es_ES); Idioma de IU: es-ES
Calc: threaded

Thank you
