Example file makes Calc crash

Unfortunately, I don't know the root cause of this (only have a suspicion of
being connected to arrays), therefore I attach the document.

Reproduce: just right click on the row marker number "3". After that Calc
crashes immediately for me.

You mean you insert the OLE.pptx in a brand new Calc file and right click on row marker 3 of Calc?

If yes, I don't reproduce the crash on Win10 with master sources updated today.
