Would removing the "File > Close document" menu entry be an acceptable fix? Like in bug #122544, it is hard to fix the actual problem, so I would much prefer to just prevent the bug from occurring instead. Also, the "Close document" menu entry is superfluous when there is the big button on the toolbar to close the document.
Sure, removing the "File > Close document" menu entry is fine for me. But it should still be possible to actually close the document in other situation.
"File > Close document" is not present in 4.2 (25) anymore. This issue can thus be fixed. Thanks to the Collabora team and especially to Tor for taking care of this!
