Description E Moen 2019-04-01 19:29:21 UTC
Description:
There a two occassions where the navigation toolbar pops up unwanted:
1. Double clicking in the Navigator (F5) jumping to somewhere in the document
2. When exorting a document to pdf

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document in writer
2. Open the Navigator (if not already)
3. Double click an entry in the navigator
-> The navigation toolbar pops up (even though is has been disabled manually in the toolbar selector)

1. Open a document in Writer
2. Export as pdf
-> After the export is finished, the navigator toolbar pops up.

Actual Results:
The navigator toolbar pops up.

Expected Results:
No navigator toolbar.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Normally toolbars do not pop up any more when disabled in the toolbar selector. The navigation toolbar still keeps popping up even though is has been disabled in the toolbar selector.

One interesting difference between the two occurences: when navigator toolbar pops up after double clicking in the Navigator, the toolbar kan be closed with the 'x' top right in the toolbar. When it popped up after pdf export, it cannot be closed with the 'x'.

I'm sorry but I am too much of noob to risk my smooth running Mint installation. However, I found the same issue in Windows and I am happy to test the development version there. Would that help?

Could you please create and attach a screencast showing the steps?
There are various free screencast software available for use, including Camstudio (Windows), Jing (Mac), Simple Screen Recorder (Linux) or screencast-o-matic.com (Web).

Screenrecording issue with navigation bar

This shows the part of the issue when double clicking in the navigator (F5), the navigation bar keeps popping up.

The issue with the the navigation bar popping up when creating a pdf is only sometimes happening and at the moment I can't seem to reproduce it.
