IMO there is not a bug, it is how spreadsheets work, if you cut a cell and paste in other place, references to it change to the new address. The only way it's not using cut, instead use copy - suppress - paste. Cut must be done always very carefully, because if after is no pasted, references became broken, and if pasted are changed.
