I tested with google keyboard and swiftkey.

Type eg Schnee and try to complete to Schneemann and you get SchneeSchneemann
Or: Schnee->Schneewittchen but you will get sSchneewittchen

It concerns Writer and calc documents. In the calc function line it's working.

Is this what is called predictive input? In that case this would be a dupe of bug 94087, but my experience is that nothing is entered (tested with Gboard and Samsung Keyboard).

Yes, it's predictive input.
