The problem should be reported to the source of the hyphenation rules. See Tools > Options > Language settings -> Writing aids, what do you have there?
Comment 2 Katrin 2019-11-19 04:15:30 UTC
@Buovjaga: Don't understand what you mean. Under Language settings (Spracheinstellungen) I just have Sprachen (languages) / Linguistik (linguistic) and Englische satzkontrolle (sometink like english sentence controle). And there's nowhere an option to report someting or set special rules. Maybe what you mean is not integrated in the german Version or for the german language.

I mean the hyphenation rules come from outside LibreOffice. They are not developed inside the LibreOffice project.

For example, in the Writing aids box I have "Libhyphen Hyphenator". Do you have this or something else?

Libhyphen refers to https://github.com/hunspell/hyphen

1. Where I can find this "Writing aids box"?
2. As I write, I can't find nowhere an entry, where I could control the Hyphenation. In spellchecker funcion you can add new words, but in Hyphenation you haven't any control. May it is because it's the german language we talk about. Maybe it's something else if we would talk about english. The only way to control it is to set "geschützter Bindestrich" (ctrl+shift+-) or "Weicher Trennstrich" (ctrl+-), but then the spellshecker mark it.

The German hyphenation rules come from this extension, which ships with LibreOffice: https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/german-de-de-frami-dictionaries
