hi, what you do: 1. open "manage templates" 2. right click on one of the templates 3. in the context menu select/go "set template as default" 4. now that you (think you) have set a template default, you just leave this template management window.. by hitting "cancel" (the other option would be to open the template) - - - what you get: next time you open the template management, you'll see that the template you chose is NOT set as default (in fact, the previous default is no longer the default either) - - - why bother? we can say it's pretty rare that someone wants to set a template as default without opening it :) still, nowadays when we grow out the old Windows style "click to save" and take it for granted that what we set is set as we do it, I think it would be simple logical if it worked like that... I mean, when you click "set as default", it should be set... - - - thank you for developing libreoffice - - - - - - - Version: 6.2.2.2 Build ID: 1:6.2.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1~lo1 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
