Description:
One can only access remote MySQL databases read-only using "Connect directly" from LibreOffice Base.
(no insert, update nor delete are possible, only selects)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a write access to a remote MySQL or MariaDB database
2. Connect "directly" to it using LibreOffice Base
3. Open any table

Actual Results:
Data is read only

Expected Results:
Data should be writable


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes



Additional Info:
Tested server version: 10.1.38-MariaDB-0+deb9u1 Debian 9.8

All works as expected using the "mysql" command-line client.

Isn't this a duplicate of bug 122446? Will change the title there for showing MySQL has the same problem as MariaDB.

I confirm this bug is fixed in version 6.3.0.0.alpha0+.
