Description David Obber 2019-07-16 13:32:05 UTC
Description:
A document with 2 pages. A table starts in the first page and, according to its properties, should continue on page #2. It happens correctly, as shown in "table in 2 pages.odt".

The 2 files have almost the same content. Comparing the table TabViaggiatore you will notice that every row is identical. There's just one difference. In the odt with the expected result, the last row of the table has an additional empty paragraph. It's just its presence that allows the correct table break.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just open the files...
2.or unpack them and search ITEM20 (the text of the last table row)
3.

Actual Results:
"table in 2 pages.odt" shows the table content in both pages
"table in a new page.odt" shows the table content on the last page

Expected Results:
"table in 2 pages.odt" shows the table content in both pages
"table in a new page.odt" must show the table content in both pages

Reproducible: Always

I will attach a zip with readme.md and the two odts

2 odts (good/bad versions) and a readme

In the readme.md (markdown) I tried to explain that what makes the difference it's just an empty paragraph.

Everything is ok with OpenOffice 4.0.1
Comment 3 Dieter 2019-07-20 05:11:43 UTC
I can't see a difference of table-break in the two documents.

It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

It happens with LibreOffice 6.0.3.2

With 6.2.5/6.3 prerelease everything is ok.
