Description Bobbie Frega 2019-08-06 11:54:37 UTC
Description:
Libreoffice quit with an error and now when I am opening LO I see Restore Windows with 2 buttons at the bottom:
Don't Restore Windows and Restore Windows.
Neither does anything and a Force Quit doesn't work. I get the same error upon opening LibOff ….. I am using MAC 10.7.5

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open NEW text document
2. cut and paste recipe form internet page
3.

Actual Results:
crash of Libre Office (I get crashes that usually mean nothing long-run (easy to reboot LO and start a new document

Expected Results:
the error window does NOT go away, and program will NOT CLOSE (even using FORCE QUIT) even after restarting AND finally, shutting down the computer. The error window pops up anew as soon as Libre Office is opened.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
after a crash, I should be able to close (FORCE quit if necessary) and resume opening program again without any error.

p.s. I have not fiddles with User Profile as I'm not techy.

Here's a link to find user profile:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#macOS

Also LO 3.4.5 is very old.
Please give a try to a recent LO version.

Here is some documentation:

BTW, except if you want to work on how to fix this, don't assign the bug to you.

I received a private eamil with Bobble and told me that:
"Yes! Most definitely helped - problem over. (I honestly thought I wrote someone at bugzilla ....) Anyway, Thank you !!! A million thanks!
Everything good. Your advice to look for user file and delete or change was the correct solution for me!!"

So, I thinks this bug is now works for me.
