Description tsthomson 2019-08-08 02:53:14 UTC
Description:
When opening a new Writer document, the in-document word & character count shows 11 words, 86 characters. Opening Tools > Word Count... shows the same thing. Attempts to restart LibreOffice in Safe Mode, then reset it to the last known working configuration, including user-created configs, are unsuccessful at correcting the problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LibreOffice Writer
2.The bottom left-hand corner of the screen should display the following text: '11 words, 68 characters'.
3.

Actual Results:
(As described above)

Expected Results:
The software should have displayed '0 words, 0 characters'.

Reproducible: Always
