My custom Writer template, with page#/page cnt in footer

LO version: 6.0.6.2
Build ID: 0c292870b25a325b5ed35f6b45599d2ea4458e77

Using a custom Writer document template that includes a footer (see attached file). This template includes one right-justified tab (at 18.5cm), a current page number field, and a total number of pages field. After saving and reopening, Writer inserts a centre-justified tab (at 9.0cm) and a right-justified tab (at 18.0cm) in the footer. My original tab at 18.5cm is left intact. Removing the unwanted tabs and saving, then reopening the document, still results in unwanted tabs in footer. Thx
