Draw is like impress an sd module app. In addition draw was used for pdf import and something like a swiss knife. Is there an reason why you can't export in draw to impress or writer files?

Why export, we have very functional OLE Import from file in both Writer & Impress that brings in the image while retaining ability to edit/touch up?

I mean when you go to save as there are only draw file format, but no impress, writer, ppt, docx, ... in all other apps you have save as to other formats.

Insert > Object > OLE Object: Create from File - and load your Draw document. Export of Draw to Writer would be the transmutation of apples into oranges. => WF
