Description nutsofasst 2019-08-13 06:02:34 UTC
Description:
Created v.6 Writer files in Windows with a different 1st page header. When opened on computer running Linux, the files are missing the 1st page header and the header setting for "Same content on first page" is checked. v.6.2.4 in Windows, v.5.1.6 in Linux. (Reverse is not true: files created on Linux machine retain first-page header on Win machine.)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create odt or ott with different first-page header in Windows 10 (Writer v.6.2.4)
2.open file in Linux (Writer v.5.1.6)
3.

Actual Results:
The first-page header is gone and the "Same content on first page" option is checked.

Expected Results:
Expect files to look the same on both operating systems.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Files created on Linux machine look OK on Win machine.

Maybe between version 5.1 and 6.2 there was a change in header handling? Please test it on both operating systems with a current version of LibreOffice (6.2.6 or 6.3). Thanks!

I can't reproduce with Windows 7 with LibreOffice 6.0 and Ubuntu 18.04 with LibreOffice 6.3.

Please attach the source file additional to my question in the comment before.

Please also try with an actual Linux version of Writer. (Bug in 5.1.6 might bealready fixed).
