Description DarkTrick 2019-08-13 08:54:07 UTC
Description:
When trying to save images from a presentation it's necessary to setup the path for each image separately. The path of most recently saved image is not preserved.

System: xubuntu

Steps to Reproduce:
(1) Add two images.
(2) Right-click on one -> "Save..."
(3) Choose a specific path (different from default).
(4) save.
(5) Right-click the other image -> "Save..."

Actual Results:
(6) The path starts again at the default location.

Expected Results:
(6) The path of the previously saved image is already open.

Reproducible: Always

confirmed here on

Version: 6.3.4.2.0+
Build-ID: 1:6.3.4-2
CPU-Threads: 2; BS: Linux 5.3; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: kde5;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI-Sprache: de-DE
Calc: threaded

The current behavior for saving images is inconsistent with impress remembering the path for saving the main document via file | save as.

This bug also applies for Calc and Writer.
Can someone please select the appropriate component for this bug?

I tried with reporter's version 6.4 it had crashes on save in GTK3 but in GEN I reproduced this.
I couldn't reproduce in Windows and Linux GTK3 with master 7.4+, tried both system and LO dialogs.
So I set WFM.
Please test.
