Description Jörg 2019-08-15 14:51:54 UTC
I have created a table with a numeric datafield and set the entry format to percentage. It's impossible to enter a correct value into the datafield. If I take off the percentage entry format, there is no problem.
This happens as well if you have no format entry set in the table's datafield, but you set one in a form field for this datafield.
I am working on Windows 10. The system language is French.

@Jorg : please be more detailed in what you are attempting to do and provide a sample DB file so that we can attempt to reproduce.

From this :

"I have created a table with a numeric datafield and set the entry format to percentage."

I am assuming you have created numeric field in your table. How have you set the data entry format ?

You then state that :

"This happens as well if you have no format entry set in the table's datafield, but you set one in a form field for this datafield."

What type of control have you chosen to display/enter the percentage value bound to the underlying numeric field and which formatting have you applied ?
