Apple Advanced Typography is a smart font technology brought by Apple, it’s the processor of TrueType GX technology which also created by Apple And lots of fonts included in macOS can present complex text layout with AAT. Since HarfBuzz have been provided APIs to process the AAT tables, LibreOffice could also display the text layout and font variation with some fonts as San Fransisco, but independent of Core Text.
