Description Thomas Groover 2019-09-03 05:27:15 UTC
Description:
When very large document opened, filesave happens somewhat normally but with each additional save, including autosaves, the product goes into the "Not Responding" state for longer and longer periods apparently with no limit to how long it will stay in unresponsive state. Have chopped the document into 2~3 pieces and the result is the same for each piece. It can take 15 minutes or longer to save. The progress bar always completes quickly but the "Not Responding" state always gets longer and longer. The filesave is apparently not complete until the product comes out of "Not Responding" as I verified by terminating the session with task manager during the process. I can restart the program and the filesave starts out ALMOST normally and the problem of course repeats. It does not matter whether some fonts are not installed or not, the behavior is the same whether or not all the needed fonts are installed. This issue is the same on two machines being employed, both machines exhibit the issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the document at this link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1j0paDC_KnTWpC7brI7B5cVtOEmHLRCSi

2. make small changes and save numerous times. Do not be concerned that all the fonts are not installed, issue will occur whether or not they are installed. But if wanting the additional fonts they are here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1H3_t1ugobDKa3KGRZLayB07CwOCgHV5D

3. Notice the save times getting successively longer and longer

Actual Results:
Excessive save times

Expected Results:
Normal, reasonable save time

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Could you give a try to last stable LO version 6.2.6? Or brand new 6.3.0?
