Sample file

Table made from grouped shapes shows up in the table in the DOCX document in LibreOffice 6.4.0.0.alpha0+ Writer.

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open the attached sample DOCX file in MS Word
    2. Open the attached screenshot
    3. Compare the document opened in MS Word and LibreOffice 6.4.
    4. Notice that the table has a shape inside, in the document opened in LibreOffice 6.4.

Actual results:
As it can be seen the original table has another table inside, and this makes the whole, hardly readable.

Expected results:
Only one table should be shown, the table inside is not needed.

You sure about that bisection? Nothing in that commit touches anything related to writer shapes.
