example of function

The usual SHIFT + CMD + / (slash) shortcut does not open the "Search" line in the "Help" part of the application menu.

This key combination usually works perfectly in other programmes. It allows to quickly find and use functions by typing the functions' first few letters. A big white arrow appears next to the highlighted function. Push ENTER and it's done.

Customising shortcut keys is not possible because the "search" function does not exist.

Sad it’s been marked as a duplicate.
The aim of this enhancement suggestion is to use the mouse LESS and keep both your hands on the keyboard.
As it was possible with older versions.
SAVE THE KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS!

Implicit in implementation of enhancement for bug 91874 would be ability to assign shortcut to the search bar for keyboard only completion without need for mouse selection.
