Description Rafael 2019-09-23 16:14:28 UTC
Description:
When opening a book of spreadsheets with extension .ods, 9.5mb in size, 3 spreadsheets of which 2 have more than 35k rows, one of them with 58 columns and the other with 28, Calc takes About 2 minutes to open. Once opened, when it comes to performing a sorting or filtering operation on the larger sheet, the application becomes blocked.
Computer Features
Intel core I5, 4 gb ram, S.O. Windows 10 PRO x64
LibreOffice 6.3.1.2 x64.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the spreadsheet book
2. Perform filtering operations
3. Perform sorting operations.

Actual Results:
When opening a book of spreadsheets with extension .ods, 9.5mb in size, 3 spreadsheets of which 2 have more than 35k rows, one of them with 58 columns and the other with 28, Calc takes About 2 minutes to open. Once opened, when it comes to performing a sorting or filtering operation on the larger sheet, the application becomes blocked.

Expected Results:
The opening of a copy of the file with the extension .xlsx, if done with Excell 2007, is reduced to a third part of the time.

Comment 2 Rafael 2019-09-30 12:07:03 UTC
good afternoon

First, sorry for the delay in responding. I am trying to adapt the file to be able to send a copy, since the information it contains should not be public.

The problem is that when trying to adapt the file, it constantly crashes and prevents me from being able to perform the adaptation.

A relatively simple operation, such as replacing certain data, may take more than 5 minutes to complete.

I keep working with the document and, whenever I can, I will send it to you.

Greetings and thanks for attention.
