Description:
Hello, I recently switched from Microsoft Access to LibreOffice, because I want to use portable software as much as possible.I started with LibreOfficePortable_6.2.5_MultilingualAll.paf under Windows 10 NL V18.09. this actually started crashing quite quickly. Message: Libreoffice no longer responds. and this only happens with base. I tried a new version LibreOfficePortable_6.3.1_MultilingualAll.paf and started testing it. It went very well, but unfortunately the problem came back. Finally I tried another system with Windows 10 lite ENG V1709. There I also had the problem .3e system Xubuntu 18.04 libreoffice 6.0.7.3 build 1607 installed via the package manager. At first I thought that would work a lot better. But in the end it also went wrong there. Without any notification. It happens at random moments I first thought it was in standby mode, but it also happens while working. And after the crash there will be a document recovery but I will still lose work. and I've also had a few times that he hang in a bootloop with document recovery. and today on my Xubuntu system he was hang at the startup logo of libreoffice. I really do not know what is happening here. I do know that I am really behind a lot of work.

Best regards

What kind of DBs do you use? HsqlDb embedded? Firebird embedded?

Last stable LO version is 6.2.7 and brand new one is 6.3.1
6.0 and 6.1 branches are EOL. On Linux, you can use LO ppa (see https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa).

For Windows, did you get LO from official website (https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/) ?

If hsqldb embedded, you must know that it relies on Java.

If you have LO 64 bits, you must have Java 64 bits
..LO 32 bits -> Java 32 bits.

To help here, we'd need:
1) a minimal step by step process to reproduce the crash
or at least
2) the crash report which includes a backtrace.
