Created attachment 154610 [details] Video demonstrating steps to produce the bug My laptop keyboard has a broken 's' key so I need to use clipboard to replace it. When I write a heading and paste the 's' character onto that line, the 's' will be ignored when applying heading style, see the attached video below. I want to upload the document too but it doesn't allow me to choose more than one file.

I can't reproduce the bug, but the .odt file I submitted still have it. Should I file another report to reflect that or edit this report directly? This is the first time I submit a bug report so I don't know what's right to do.
I confirm it with Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 460908269972fd1f89312a1e62897ed1503e9e98 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-09-30_09:18:03 Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Steps to reproduce: 1. Open document in attachment of comment 1 2. Change paragraph style Result: Changing of paragraph style doesn't affect character 's' in the correct way
also reproducible in LibreOffice 3.3.0 OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4 @Regina, any idea why it's happening ?
Still present in Version: 7.2.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2a7ea282da28d665a7dc086360567b4aea27bf08 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL @Regina, any idea why it's happening ?
Why is there confusion in QA about this? The s character has direct properties of size 13, normal weight. Styles never win over direct formatting. This can easily be seen with the new styles inspector. All you have to do is "clear formatting" on the s to fix this.
Justin, you're right. Thank you for having a look at it. I thnk we can close this report.
