Description MR Zenwiz 2019-09-29 05:37:58 UTC
Starting in LO 6.3.1, I noticed the following issue:

1. Startup LO Writer from the command line or keyboard shortcut. The shortcut is '/usr/bin/libreoffice --writer --noprompt' where /usr/bin/libreoffice is a symlink to /opt/libreoffice6.3/program/soffice.

2. Writer opens a new, untitled document.

3. Click File -> Open Recent and select an existing recently opened file to open.

4. The selected file opens.

5. The new, untitiled document is NOT closed - this is a change from all previous release's behavior, and it does NOT happen in Calc or Impress.

The bug is that, once the selected existing file is opened, the new, untitiled file is neither closed, dismissed nor deleted, it is left open.

This also happens if step 3 is File -> Open (or ^O) and a file is selected from the open file subwindow.

I regret that I was unable to follow up on this due to being hospitalized with COVID-19 and five additional weeks of recovery after a 25 day coma. I'll see about testing this and refiling if it is still an issue.
