Description Mayank Suman 2019-10-03 13:00:29 UTC
Description:
Writer starts to use ~1.5GB memory and one core when some `fodf` file is opened (like `readlicense_oo/license/CREDITS.fodf` in LibreOffice core code).

Further, two different menu is visible on libreoffice window.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer.
2. Open readlicense_oo/license/CREDITS.fodf in LibreOffice core code.

Actual Results:
Writer will start to use high memory and CPU even if left ideal.

Expected Results:
Writer should not use CPU heavily if left ideal and memory usage should be reasonable.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

Yes, it was due to corruption in the user profile.

Good. Closing as RESOLVED WONTFIX
Comment 5 Mayank Suman 2019-10-04 06:21:45 UTC
I have one observation to note. This behaviour start only when development version of libreoffice writer is opened and closed before opening writer 6.3.2.
