Description: I have a custom template which is currently stored in C:\Users\John\Desktop\LO. From time to time I edit it, and then, after I close the Writer, I see TMP file in the same directory: ``` t.ott t.ott~RF73c0aa0.TMP ``` I can delete this file, but it will be immediately created again. Then, after about a minute, it will disappear without any help from my side. I don't use LO for "real work" currently - my work is limited to the template itself. Therefore, I cannot say whether this issue affects normal documents - but I suppose the answer is "yes." The bug happens only sometimes.
Thank you for reporting the bug, would you mind to try the latest version?
(In reply to Stanislaus J. Pinasthika from comment #2) From that time, I worked with Writer a lot and I never have this bug again. Just a guess: The bug (sometimes) happens if you disable lock files (Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Advanced > Open Expert Configuration > Search for UseLocking and set it to False.) From the time I turned this setting to its default state (i.e. True), I have never experience the described bug again.

Indeed, this is not a bug. Lock files are essential. Closing.
