Description larrybradley 2019-10-20 13:08:28 UTC
Description:
After inserting conditional formatting for a cell in Calc, cursor is permanently changed to "painter"-style for current and new workbooks and sheets, even when not in "conditional formatting" function. The new cursor does not function as painter, it just has the appearance of the painter icon. Does not cause problems with any other LO program. Cannot figure out how to get the normal cursor back in Calc. LO 6.3.2.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Conditionally formatted Cell.
2.Upon clicking OKAY in conditional formatting dialog, cursor has turned into clone-formatting (bucket) icon.

Actual Results:
Upon clicking OKAY in conditional formatting dialog, cursor has turned into clone-formatting (bucket) icon. Cannot find a way to change icon back to normal arrow. Hitting ESC does not do it. Saving, closing and re-opening Workbook does not do it. Opening a new spreadsheet does not do it.

Expected Results:
Expected to have a normal (arrow) cursor icon after inserting Conditional Formatting into cell.

Reproducible: Always

Also just now discovered that after the unwanted icon change kicks in, right-click for dialog box functionality no longer works.

Instead of just closing the workbook and re-opening it, I fully exited and re-started LO and that took care of the problem. Sorry for the false alarm;
