Thank you for reporting the bug.
Unfortunately without clear steps to reproduce it, we cannot track down the origin of the problem.
Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the steps are provided

Apologies, I am not familiar with BugZilla reporting system.

The only thing I know is: Ubuntu snap crashes periodically. On the #1 comment, I simply added the console output of the terminal used to invoke the LibreOffice snap.

I tried to follow the instructions on the https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux:_How_to_get_a_backtrace page (--backtrace specifically), but they don't generate anything.

I assume the issue is that I use the snap package, instead of a "normal installation". (I would be willing to use the normal installation, if there would be a Xenial PPA available for this version)

I don't know that "More Information" to provide; kindly be more specific (instead of using the canned "NEEDINFO" message). I already mentioned that "Ubuntu snap crashes periodically". The invocations (from 2019-10-11 until 2019-10-24) are consecutive and, neither the program nor the computer are closed in this timeframe (You can see open and crash times on the terminal output below).

Can someone bother giving instructions on how to collect cores and stacktrace from the snap package binaries?
Comment 4 Buovjaga 2020-05-10 13:43:45 UTC
As mentioned in https://www.libreoffice.org/download/snap/
Note that bugs only appearing in the Snap version should be reported to Ubuntu's Launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice

The Ubuntu folks will be able to advice you on this. I have no idea how debug symbols work with Snaps. Possibly they should package a separate debug build of LibreOffice.

I never said it appears *only* in the snap version.

If your people suggest we should use this version because of other bugs, and you don't have normal ppa packages, then it's not my fault that I replicate a bug in the snap environment.

For all I know, it's your problem and not a packaging issue.

Hey, *we* are NOT Ubuntu/Canonical! So please don't talk about Snaps or PPAs like that.
