Description ambrish dhaka 2019-10-27 04:42:36 UTC
Description:
This might not be a bug exactly, but certainly hits performance and bugs use of Impress while createing slides.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. USing master slide to change background. Once a new color is selected in order to change the colors of all the pre-existing slides.
2. The colors change but as a new slide is added then the old color comes back into all slides.
3. So I have to modify the color again every time a new slide is added. This is really a problematic thing.

Actual Results:
The old color scheme comes back and its needs to be changed for new color every time new slide is added.

Expected Results:
The master slide must behave in master manner. Once change is made to background color then it must stay there.

Reproducible: Always

On which env are you and what LO version do you use?
Comment 2 ambrish dhaka 2019-10-28 15:30:46 UTC
I am on Linux Mint and the LibreOffice version is version 6.0.7.3.
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2019-10-28 15:35:12 UTC
Could you give a try to a recent LO version 6.2.8 or brand new 6.3.2?
Indeed, 6.0 and 6.1 branches are EOL.

Depending on your Mint version, you can find ad hoc ppa here:

Installed Ubuntu 19.10 which has LibreOffice 6.3.2.2 and so far the problem seems to have not occured. I presume that I have been able to resolve the issue. Thanks.
